Local Law Enforcement Agency Training

Training consists of a wide variety of topics covering all aspects of counter-narcotic law enforcement, including subjects ranging from Vehicle Hidden Compartment courses to Clandestine Meth Lab Awareness. National Guardsmen are uniquely qualified to manage and facilitate training, and with our dual mission of providing military support to civil authorities within our communities, the Counterdrug Training Centers have become an invaluable and irreplaceable training resource to thousands of law enforcement agencies across America.

Military to Military Training

A primary mission of the National Guard Counterdrug Schools is to provide military training to Ground Component Commanders (GCCs) in support of their counter-narcotics efforts. Courses range from classroom instruction such as Counter-Threat Finance and Interview Techniques, to intense tactical exercises focusing on weapons and team drills, safety, and the current operating environment.

Federal Agency Training

Provides training support to federal agencies satisfies our primary mission of providing support to Combatant Commanders. Federal agencies receiving training include Customs & Border Patrol (CPB), the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the U.S. Marshals, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms (ATF), and the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTAs).

Civil Operations Support Training

Provides military training support to Community-based Coalitions, Educational Institutions, and elected officials. Civil Operations provides Adventure Based Education and other education programs to further the education of youth and adults to help reduce the demand for drugs in our communities.

Training Grounds
Camp Blanding Joint Training (CBJTC) is a 72,000 acre training site located in Northeast Florida. The training areas are designed to evalute and improve on the tactical skills of the Military and Law Enforcement Officers.

These groups maintain extensive networks of associates, often related through familial or regional ties to associates living in the United States, where they control polydrug smuggling and wholesale distribution from hub cities to retail markets throughout the United States.
